I am well aware that a number of my friends have been dealing with difficult situations or decisions because they talk to me about it in confidence, and Im sure there are many other who keep their pains bottled inside so here’s a prayer of all my friends and readers who are going through a tough time right now.
Dear God,
With this prayer
I call to mind my friends.
I ask for Your blessings on them.
May angels fill their nights
And bless their days.
May they find joy and peace and harmony.
May I be a source of happiness in their lives.
May our bond be strong and based on truth.
May they always know that
In me, they have support.
May I live a life that
Lives up to this prayer.
Everything is happening so fast. And sometime I feel flustered and cluttered with things to do.

Did yall see J-Hud at the Hope For Haiti Now telethon (if not, watch below)? She sang her heart out huh? Oooh – I absolutely loved it! It was my favourite performance of “Let It Be”. She has such a strong voice and the message in the song is one that we all can appreciate. Sometimes things beyond our control happens and all we can do is just let it be, pick up the pieces and move on. Everything always works together for the better.
PS: Have you bought the Hope For Haiti Now album on iTunes? Buy it HERE now. I love every track, every live performance. All the artists were so graceful and sang their hearts of for Haiti. Its all for a great cause. Support them!
I just got out of my sister’s photo album on FB, where she posted a picture of our father and a picture of me with our younger brother. It was sort of comforting to see the pics there because for some reason I always felt like we weren’t her favourite people so seeing the pics made my heart smile. But my smile quickly turned to a frown. I need not say why, just keep reading.
Ladies, and gents too, if your parent (be it mother or father…maybe even both) is absent in your life for whatever reason, fostering negative thoughts won’t help or change anything. It will only harm you and your sanity. Your Father will ALWAYS BE YOUR FATHER and your mother will ALWAYS BE YOUR MOTHER, regardless of how many time he/she calls or doesn’t call and regardless of how many times you see him/her, or do not see him/her. And your kids will have to call him Grand-Dad and her Grand-Ma.
Whenever a hateful thought harvests in your mind about your mother or your father, just remember that.
Last night I set a plan for my day and if there is nothing else I do today, I intend to stick to that plan. Last week I got my final paper topic and today I want to do a bit of reading for my topic. I feel like I need a confidence boost, so by reading on key concepts I’ll be doing just that.
With that said, if there’s anything you aren’t very confident about you’ll be wasting time by sitting on your butt and complaining and moaning about it. So get up and do something about it – the clock is ticking!
I am a liberated woman. And I do believe if a woman does equal work she should be paid equal money. But personally I am feminine and I do like male authority to lean on.
